Animator Creating Animation by Deekay

This is a small project I did during my spare time. I am sure we all go through ups and downs when creating art. Maybe caring a little too much about what others think and not enough appreciation towards your own art. Whatever you make, it is still your creation. And it will always give you a like. :) https://ift.tt/38rjkRL

Tesla "The Silence Between Us" by MEETO

TESLA it´s quiet, it´s fast, and it moves though the city landscape in an almost dreamy way. This short film is about the silence that can build up in relationship and in the end how it destroys it. The story is told like flashes of memory whilst a man drives quietly through the city.

Superbloom by MAD TREES

Today, images of the outdoors are focused on how people look, their gender, and what they are wearing while outdoors. But how we feel out there seems more important. Colors zooming by. Nature as our second skin. Confetti leaves and trail parties, cake snacks and hard laughs. Superbloom envisions our shared technicolor experience in the outdoors. This is where buds grow. Created by Anya Miller and Anne Cleary.

Gus Dapperton - First Aid (Official Music Video) by gus dapperton

Town Portal · Vanitas by Gabriele Calvi

Official music video for Town Portal's Vanitas. A free interpretation of a common sleep cycle. A journey through abstract landscapes and anatomical visualizations. Music: Town Portal https://ift.tt/1HRtRBG Concept, Design & Animation: Gabriele Calvi behance.net/gabrielecalvi The music video realized for Vanitas is a free interpretation of a common sleep cycle with the aim of visually representing the dark and eerie sounds of the song. Hence the choice of the subject of “sleep” which, conceived as the most death-like everyday experience, allowed to trace the obscure and nocturnal atmosphere of the track, without sticking too much to the usual imagery associated to heavy music. Anatomical representations, abstract settings, folkloristic figures, nightmares and still lifes ( vanitas ) follow one another unceasingly to emphasize the complex structure of the song by creating continuous rhythmic-visual correspondences. A journey where the protagonist and his consciousness ( the red sphere ) go through the five phases of sleep, from falling asleep to the catharsis of the REM phase, interrupted by an experience of sleep paralysis and followed by a turbulent awakening that brings the protagonist back to reality, in the dawn of a generic city in a day like any other. ©2020 Gabriele Calvi

Portlands Brandend Hart (Portland's Burning Heart) by JONGSMA + O'NEILL

"Portland's Burning Heart" uses a combination of iPhone footage, on-the-ground photography and haunting voice over to tell the story of Portland's ongoing street protests from the perspective of the woman who knows them best: Emmy-winning photojournalist Beth Nakamura of The Oregonian. Beth is the burning heart at the center of the film, and over the course of its 13 minutes we watch as she evolve from local reporter to teargas-dodging, stab-vest-wearing conflict journalist. Commissioned by the Dutch public network HUMAN in anticipation of the 2020 US elections, the film is a collaboration between Nakamura and the Tim Hetherington Visionary Award-winning filmmaking team Jongsma + O'Neill.

Monsoon 6 (4K, 8K) by Mike Olbinski

Support me on Patreon! https://ift.tt/32JuXhA Blu-Rays and more available: https://ift.tt/3mnF4BA Follow me: https://ift.tt/HQz2lJ http://www.twitter.com/mikeolbinski https://ift.tt/2cP05G6 Music by Péter Nánási: https://ift.tt/2h0Lpq0 --------------------- I've never spent two years making a Monsoon film before, so this was a first. Part of it was wanting to put out the best possible film I could, but a good chunk of it was the fact our recent summer storm seasons have been subpar at best, with 2020 the worst I can remember. 2019 wasn't horrible, but there was about zero dust storms, with only a single haboob clip to salvage from that summer, so I wanted to wait until I had something more to add to it. Luckily for me, August 16th, 2020 happened and we scored a fantastic haboob chase from Casa Grande to Gila Bend along Interstate 8. It was what I had been hoping and praying for to complete this film. That was the only legit haboob day of the past two years and I'm glad I was there for it! Not only for this film, but for the BBC and one of their upcoming projects I'm proud to be a part of! A lot was left on the cutting room floor, in fact, it might be an entire other film, but it was important to me to include only the best, most unique stuff I saw the last two years, plus keep it under 9 minutes long! Finding music was a struggle, so I decided to work once again with Péter Nánási and have a custom score created for Monsoon 6. And boy, he knows me well and hit it out of the park! Thank you sir! I hope you enjoy this film! It's the result of 30,000+ miles, hundreds of thousands of time-lapse frames captured and 60+ days chasing. Some highlights include epic downbursts, gorgeous light, mountains, desert, a stunning supercell and yes, rainbows. Photographed all across the great state of Arizona, where I've lived my entire life. I'd like to thank all my supporters over on my Patreon page! If you're not a member but enjoyed this film, I encourage you to join up. I'm so honored by the folks over there who spend their hard-earned cash to support the work I do, it means so much! Spring is right around the corner, and live streams, targets and all kinds of stuff awaits my Patrons. Finally, I'd like to thank my family. The kids are getting older, they aren't along for as many of the chases, but they support me, they love me and when they can join me, it's always a blast. My amazing wife Jina is my rock, has my back, keeps me humble and gives me advice that is always perfection. I honestly wouldn't be doing this without them! Thank you for watching Technical Details: Everything shot with two Canon 5DSRs and various Canon lenses. A couple lightning sequences with the Sony A7R3 All clips available in 8K Resolution Processed in Lightroom, LR Timelapse, After Effects and Premiere Pro.

What does it mean to be connected to our food? What is the balance between taking life and giving life? Based on the North Shore of O’ahu, IMPRINT is the separate yet connected story of two souls. Shane Hamamoto, who has lost the ability to spearfish and dive, from barometric trauma now expresses his passion for the ocean through Gyotaku - the traditional art of Japanese fish printing. Alishiya Holland, young spearfisherwoman from the Big Island of Hawai’i, has taken her love for the ocean to support her family and as an outlet through nature. LIVE TO SEA - The Movie // A Swedish Surf Saga by Maceo Frost

https://ift.tt/2Hvg5NA Live to Sea - A saga that follows Freddie Meadows on his tireless quest along the rugged edges of Sweden, in search of the region’s greatest waves; one of the final frontiers within surfing. "This journey has been long and beautiful. A journey that I feel in many ways has just begun; the majority of which remains undocumented due to the mystical nature and spontaneity of the Baltic Sea. It was early autumn of 2019, I was anchored behind an island when the name Live to Sea came to mind. It was the perfect description of what I do, of what all of us surfers do in some way. Live to Sea is for anyone and everyone who feels connected to the ocean, sea or any waters. For me this film is a tribute to the missions and moments that went unseen. Most importantly it is a tribute to the magic of nature and the sea. " - Freddie Meadows Today The Baltic Sea is in critical condition. - it is considered one of the most polluted seas in the world. It can still be saved but actions should be taken immediately. Do you want to help? North Country by Stept Studios

Director: Nick Martini DP: Cam Riley Producer/Executive Producer: Anthony R. Lahout Editor: Mattias Evangelista Sound: Alex Boll 100-year businesses don’t exist. The retail industry is dead. In the rugged White Mountains of northern New Hampshire, Lahout’s has remained open 365 days a year since 1920. While e-commerce and conglomerates have stripped the country of local, independent retailers, a family of Lebanese immigrants have prevailed for a century, beating the Great Depression, World War II, the Dot Com Crash and Great Recession. Award-winning director Nick Martini and cinematographer Cam Riley have teamed up with executive producer Anthony Lahout to captivate a nation consumed with hashtags instead of history. This film tells a timeless short story of the American dream and the family that put a community on skis. After 100 years, Lahout’s is still a family business moving onto its fourth generation. Through past and present, we learn the true root of the store's success. As the original passes on, we question and discover the backbone of its longevity. We hope to inspire immigrants, millennials, family businesses, and outdoor enthusiasts that all in America is not lost. MANIFESTO by Studio River

River is an audiovisual crafting brand. This Year we sponsored the Motion Plus Design for their sixth event in Paris. On this occasion we were asked to introduce our studio. But rather than deliver another showreel we decided to create a manifesto video where we could play with some funny storytelling through our different baselines. We used the showreel codes to create the same type of dynamic except that each shot was created for the film with various artistic directions. Anyway the intention was to create a demo tape with a somewhat atypical shape. Thank you for watching ! -Sept 2020- /////////////////////////////////////////// Agency : Studio River Script : Keyvan Nourian Motion designer artists : Keyvan Nourian,Pierrick Selva, Elie Nourian, Alexandre Scariot, Mathilde Sauterel Sound design and Compositing : Keyvan Nourian Green background filming : Ben Gonzalez Comediens : Maurine Tric, Pierrick Selva, Ben Gonzalez, Keyvan Nourian ///////////////////////////////////////////

Matagi Mālohi: Strong Winds by Forest Woodward

Matagi Mālohi: Strong Winds "Matagi Mālohi tells the story of our journey to uplift our people and shape a narrative that paints us not as victims of the climate crisis but as the leaders, the healers, the nurturers, the artists, the gardeners, the growers, the seafarers and the navigators we are. We need to be the strong winds that have carried our ancestors across the seas. We need to be the strong winds pushing our leaders forward as they come up against the might of these big bullying nations. We need to be the strong winds, that Matagi Mālohi, that bring the change our people need to see." The Pacific Climate Warriors, born out of the low-lying Pacific Islands, are an indigenous and youth lead movement who now have been on the front lines of climate change for decades -- their rally cry is “we are not drowning, we are fighting.” Directed by: Aidan Haley, Canyon Woodward, Forest Woodward Speech + writer: Kevin Aipopo Creative direction + story + poetry: Fenton Lutunatabua Pacific footage: Forest + Canyon Woodward Climate rally footage: Aeon Visual / Zeke Jones Audio Post Production: Ridgeline Sound Music: Julian Calor - "Desperation" With special thanks to: Koreti Mavaega Tiumalu and family Fenton Lutunatabua Kevin Aipopo The Pacific Climate Warriors family The Pacific Islander Student Alliance Thelma Young-Lutunatabua Faitofi (Dobby) Pusinelli and family Kevika Kemangu and family Rurunteiti Kaiarake and family The late Pusinelli Lafai and family Bernard Ewekia Rev. The Shins - "The Great Divide" by Paul Trillo

"The Great Divide" by The Shins There is a palpable rift in our country, our world, our reality. "How could this be real?" we ask ourselves on a daily basis. "The New Normal" is constantly redefined. "Are we living in the darkest timeline?" We wonder. "The simulation is glitching." We muse. The great divide is happening between humans, between the planet, between the universe. Take a step back and reflect on where we came from and where we're going. Streets of Lagos by Untitled Film Works

Shot on location in West Africa, 'Streets of Lagos' provides a rare insight into the lives of Nigeria’s first generation of rollerbladers. What was once a niche sport that saw widespread participation across the globe in the late 90’s has emerged in 2020 as a fringe subculture in the streets of Lagos. Originally used as a way to navigate the city’s dense traffic, today, a select few use their skates as a form of self-expression, something which can be hard to find in one of the toughest cities in the world. The story is told through the eyes of Daniel Ogbogu, Lagos’ strongest up-and-coming street skater, who gives insight into the struggles of daily life in Nigeria and the strength that skating gives him. He is joined by travelling professional athlete, Brian Freeman, who seeks to nurture the sense of community he sees in these talented youths and to help them find sense in the chaotic world in which they live. --- A Film by | Dom West Starring | Daniel Ogbogu & Brian Freeman Soundtrack | Rob Law & Music Bed Shot on location | Lagos, Nigeria Run time | 12 Minutes https://ift.tt/35MA70c --- Special thanks to: The Ogbogu Family Shinobi Blade Clan Caleb Smith --- Proudly supported by: BFree Blading www.bfreeblading.org Vibralux Skate Goods https://ift.tt/35SaD1o THEM Skates www.themskates.com Locoskates www.locoskates.com Flying Eagle https://ift.tt/1s5MrB3 Barbary Coast SF www.barbarycoastsf.com Decathlon www.decathlon.com Eulogy Wheels www.eulogywheels.com Intuition Skateshop www.intuitionskate.com Bayside Blades https://ift.tt/3mBnB9G Skater HQ www.skaterhq.com.au Hedonskate www.hedonskate.com Oysi www.oysius.com ---
