Void Season - Extended OY Version by ZEITGUISED

“Void Season” is a digital fashion design project. Part dreamlike theatre, part lateral cargo cult hustle, a succession of bold garment designs acts as an ersatz runway show. In a minimal set of solid backdrops, radiant colors and oblique choreography second the exquisite design of costumes that have been entirely artificially generated. A wealth of custom procedural surface detail emphasizes the uncanny rift between the realistic presence of the guises and the abstract vacancy of the digitized human movements. ZEITGUISED X OY: For the release of their track “A New Planet is Born”, ZEITGUISED supported their fabulous friends of OY with an extended edit to be used for their album promo and live touring visuals. CREDITS "A New Planet is Born" by OY is released on Crammed Discs All conceptual, design and production work: ZEITGUISED/foam Production outtakes on: instagram/zeitguised Original artwork sound design: Michael Fakesch

LZ 129 - A Zeppelin Odyssey by M A R A M E O F I L M

MARAMEOFILM and European Film College presents: "LZ 129 - A Zeppelin Odyssey" is a found footage documentary that explores the industrial power and magnificence of the German Zeppelin airship. The film is a portrait of the Zeppelin - from its construction, to flight, to its eventual demise in the Hindenburg disaster. LZ 129 evokes an emotional response from the viewer whereby underneath an aesthetic celebration of the Zeppelin as object, a darker correlation is made between the Zeppelin and the Nazi regime. The Zeppelin is treated as a living thing - from birth, to life and ultimately death. An innocent eye is placed onto the Zeppelin during its construction period, whereby the seemingly innocent relationship between the German people and the Nazi government is also called into question. The flight of the Zeppelin at the centre of the film conveys an ethereal moment of spectacle, a spectacle that is grimly shadowed by the presence of Nazi propaganda beneath the surface. The demise of the Zeppelin, most notoriously through the world famous event of the Hindenburg disaster, brings this correlation between Nazi rule and the Zeppelin to its apocalyptic conclusion. The film wishes to enact a feeling of complicity to spectacle and as a result, bring into question the political issue of spectacle as propaganda. The Zeppelin, removed from its context, becomes a creature that soars and invites awe as the audience become swayed by its aesthetic brilliance. But as we become aware of Hitler’s shadow beneath the image, we interrogate the danger of spectacle to avert the eye.

MUAY THAI by Josh Hayward

A surreal, atmospheric descent into the psyche of a Muay Thai boxer in the days leading up to a fight. This intimate portrait reveals the rituals and pressures in Bangkok's boxing culture that have shaped our boxer and that cause him mounting physical and psychological tension as his dedication, faith, and doubt intersect. Shot at a bare-bones training gym on the grounds of a Buddhist Temple, and in Bangkok’s historic Rajadamnern Stadium, the film captures the world-wide phenomenon of Muay Thai as it has been practiced for centuries. Its authenticity is the product of two years' work, multiple research trips, and two long days of filming with a dedicated Thai production team.

RENDER by WOW inc

About the Work RENDER is an experimental installation created using 20 sheets of organic display electroluminescence. Its focus’s on the perception of “being able to see things that cannot actually be seen” using footage from the the natural world such as rain, wind and lightning, as well as a three-dimensional audio reconstruction using natural sound fragments. The artwork aims to trigger a new sense of depth allowing viewers to reimagine what is depicted between each display using their minds to fill in the blanks. By displaying fragmented three-dimensional visuals on multiple displays, a new perspective can be explored not only from the front but all angles in 3D space. This experience will intensely stimulate the viewer’s imagination, leaving a deeper impression on one’s mind. Staff Creative Director:Takaaki Morita Art Director / Technical Director / Programmer:Shunsaku Ishinabe Visual Designer:Daisuke Moriwaki, Tsutomu Miyajima, Itsuki Maeshiro, Tatsuki Kondo, Hiroshi Takagishi Producer:Yasuaki Matsui Sound Designer:Tomohiro Nagasaki Engineer:Yuta Nakano Equipment:CIMA (https://ift.tt/2HnRJAw)
