He&Sea by iZeMo

This is my latest film, co-directed with Pieter Vanluffelen It had a world-premiere in the competition of the prestigious Anima-festival in Brussels, and has finished its tour around the festivals Racking up 3 awards along the way It’s a poetic creational epic about perseverance and passion, crafted with the same traits. There was some groundbreaking software developed solely for this film (Ultra Pictura) “an abstract gem…” Kortfilm.be "I found "He & Sea" to be an outstanding piece of work that balances the abstract and the figurative in an extraordinarily subtle way. I want to show it to our producers and creative leads, both for their inspiration and so that they'll be aware of these artists in case there are opportunities for collaboration in the future." This is Home - Jackson Goldstone by Ride Shimano

Many mountain bike athletes start their careers early, honing skills well before the first signs of adolescence. Then there’s Jackson Goldstone. The Squamish, B.C. youth shot to stardom in 2010 when a homemade video of him riding, jumping, dropping, and spinning his balance bike on the way to kindergarten went viral. Since then, Jackson has risen to the top tiers of the sport, already demonstrating a signature style in mountain bike films and competing on the international stage, shoulder to shoulder with some of the best racers and freeriders in the world. Talent has played a large part in Jackson’s extraordinary riding ability, but so has his hometown of Squamish. With one of the most densely packed trail networks on the planet right outside his door, Jackson can challenge himself in any mountain biking discipline he chooses, every day of the year. Whether whipping out jump lines with his friends or pinning long, rugged downhill descents to eclipse his personal record, Jackson always rides to have fun. He thinks you should, too.

TOWELS | Animation Short Film by Prawta Annez

Territory can be claimed in many different ways, be it borders or walls. In summer, however, it's towels. ----------------------------------------------------- "Designed and written during the tense political climate of 2017, with the beginning of Brexit and Trump's inauguration, this short was a way to express my inner frustrations and reflections at the time. However, it is interesting that there may be some parallels to our current situation in 2020. I hope this short can be 4 minutes of fun and escapism for anyone who watches it, no matter where they may be or whatever they may be going through." - Prawta A. ———————————————————————— Awards: Royal Television Society Student Television Awards 2019, UK - South West Animation Awards Winner for Best Undergraduate Animation and Best Sound Design Nominations: British Animation Awards, 2018-2020, UK - Nominated for Best Undergraduate Animation Royal Television Society Student Television Awards 2019, UK - Best Undergraduate Animation Official Selection: LA Femme International Film Festival 2019, USA - Official Finalist for Animations Shorts Animadeba 2019, Spain NAHEMI Eat Our Shorts 2019, UK Linoleum Contemporary Animation and Media Art Festival 2019, Ukraine Director: Prawta Annez Producer: Camilla Kjaernet Lead Animator: Majua Carvajal Fight scene original music: Barnaby Fryer Radio music: Like You and I - Magnius Ringblom, Golden Age Radio Sound mix: Sam Carson, Amid Ojubanire, Prawta Annez Production Support: Falmouth University School of Film and Television Thank you to the crew, our friends and family, and Falmouth University. PANDEMIC by Autobahn

Throughout this challenging, sad and unusual time, we are being forced to face some truths we constantly try to avoid. Death, purpose and responsibility were some of the things going through the minds of the friends that we spoke with around the world. During April we recorded these conversations, and while being on opposite sides of the world, we created this film using unused shots and personal footage. We confronted many of our own fears and although there isn’t a definitive answer, there were some thoughts that stayed with us. This film won’t reveal anything new, but it might bring some comfort and ideas, perhaps uniting us in what it means to be human during these uncertain times. - Pedro and James Read the article on Directors Notes. https://ift.tt/3hvEpfA An Autobahn Film Score: Russ Chimes Colourist: Alex Gregory // The Mill Sound Design/Mix: Thiacio Palanca // Lucha Libre

LSD: Long Slow Distance by David & Douglas

"When I’m in nature, I'm with my body. I listen, I feel, I hear and I keep focusing step after step. I feel significantly insignficant. I am in tune with myself, with nature. We are one. Today, everything is so fast. Everyone is always reachable and connected. You have notices on your phone. Mail and messages are pouring over you. All this contact in the digital world makes me feel numb. When I run, no one can reach me. Long slow distance allows me to more intimately know myself, in all states. My best and worst self. Running for me is a way of recharging, affording my brain and body some repose from the numbing effects of that aforementioned digital world. It gives me the ability to come back and give more" - Petter Lundgren Directors: David and Douglas Runner: Petter Lundgren 1AC: Maxime Bobet Music: Ultimate Spinach Sound Designer: Augustin Bretillard Editor: David & Douglas Camera Service: Ogeita7
